What we mean by “privacy-friendly”
We use analytics to understand which pages are being viewed, roughly how long visitors stay, and what devices/browsers are commonly used. We do this to improve the site’s content and usability - not to build advertising profiles.
What data is typically collected
Website analytics usually records non-sensitive technical information that helps us understand how the site is used. This can include:
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on pages
- Referrer information (e.g., whether you arrived from a search engine or another website)
- Device type and browser (e.g., mobile/desktop, Safari/Chrome)
- Technical information used to keep the site reliable (e.g., response times, errors)
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through analytics.
What we do not do
- We do not use analytics to serve personalised advertising.
- We do not run “remarketing” or ad pixels for third-party ad networks.
- We do not try to identify you by name, email address, or social profile via analytics.
Cookies and consent
Some analytics tools can run without advertising cookies, and some can be configured to minimise or avoid cookies entirely. Where cookies are used, they are for measuring site usage - not for advertising.
If you have enabled a “Do Not Track” setting or use privacy tools that block analytics, the site should still work normally.
